2001-2009 – Director of BFA-Music Theatre: (Founding Director; Interdisciplinary program involving the departments of Music, Theater and Dance. Responsibilities included chairing the Interdisciplinary Music Theatre Council; overseeing the curriculum, public relations, advocacy, organizing and raising funds for NYC Senior Showcases, recruitment and auditions, outreach with off-campus performances, assessment and program review.
Teaching responsibilities in Music Theater program:
Studio Voice: taught most of the music theater majors in addition to voice majors; was successful inhelping students develop both the ability to perform in opera and musical theater
Techniques for the Singing Actor: stagecraft, improvisation, movement, characterization, acting
Music Theatre Senior Capstone: audition techniques and repertoire (songs and monologues); audition portfolios (headshots, resumés); preparation of NYC Senior Showcase that included singing, dancing, monologues

Dalcroze Eurythmics for Music Education majors
Dalcroze Eurhythmics is a learner-centered study of all elements of music through movement. The students in this class learned Eurhythmics “games” for teaching musical concepts. This was offered in conjunction with Kodaly and Orff classes offered by the Music Education faculty.
