Fees and Services

Timothy Caldwell has achieved his reputation as an authority in Eurhythmics through his writing and particularly through his numerous workshops. The formats for the workshops and clinics vary greatly, ranging from 2-3 hour presentations, to intensive week-long clinics that run for up to six hours per day. The contracting organizations or individuals determine the format that works best for them as well as the topic to be covered.

In addition to his working with groups of teachers, Caldwell also works one-on-one with teachers and soloists in all musical media: pianists, singers, brass, woodwinds, and strings. He has also worked with choral ensembles, student orchestras (junior high through university-level organizations), brass quintets, and small chamber music ensembles. He has been successful in these varying media because, as a performer in his own right, he is able to relate to the mind-set and performance necessities every performer faces.

Caldwell also makes connections with teaching music, performance, and neurological information due to his continuing collaboration with Dr. Fritz Mengert (visit the Neurology Section for more information). His continuing emphasis on using Eurhythmics concepts (rather than attempting to make “converts” to the method), as well as explaining the neurological aspects of these activities, is what sets him apart from the typical Eurhythmics teachers.
